  • A tornado hides behind a wall of dirt picked up from the fields by the in-flow winds. The clear slot (a cloud free area formed by the descending air of the rear flank downdraft) allows light to reflect off the hail core, producing a beautiful turquoise color. A dustnado spins up on the left, a result of out-flow winds. Collyer KS
